Mix all ingredients except for maple syrup in a small saucepan using a bamboo whisk and bring to almost boiling temperature. I do not boil it, but if you wish you can simmer it for a couple of minutes.
Put a drink in a mug, add maple syrup if using any, mix well and then top it with cinnamon.
Enjoy the milk while it is hot
Note: very important to add black pepper and oil when making this milk. Curcumin is oil soluble as well as needs piperine to be able to absorbe better into the blood.
I prefer to make it fresh every time. But it can also be made in advance and stored in your refrigerator for up to five days. Simply reheat it before drinking.
